Frequently Asked Questions
We all receive more emails than we can possibly read. And, frankly, I don’t want my limited writing time to go toward that. I might make a newsletter in the future, but for now, content yourself I’m working on the next book. 🙂
So far I’ve self-published my books. After extensive research, I think traditional publication (in Barnes and Noble stores, etc.) would suit my personality better. Self-publishing is a wonderful option for many people, but my publishing aspirations lead elsewhere. For now they’re self-published because I think the people who want my works on their shelves deserve them.
Yes, the way I’m publishing so far means I retain all the rights. I may even need to take them out of print one day. It all depends on branding when I publish traditionally.
A King Remade was my first book. It’s tempting to leave it up or give it away for free, but it doesn’t demonstrate the quality I want in my writing. I may revisit it (and the completed never-published sequel), but there’s zero plan for that at this point.
Unlike A King Remade, my other books are written as standalones. That means they’re each a self-contained story. I have ideas to extend the other worlds, but other new stories take priority. A King Remade was a special case by an amateur because the story isn’t wrapped up in the first (or even second) book.
